Description

Develop applications for capital reporting, regulatory compliance, and risk-weighted asset calculations. Own the design and implementation of large-scale enterprise systems, partnering with technology teams on platform migrations and target architectures.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain applications for calculating risk-weighted assets and generating Basel rules-based capital ratios.
• Design and implement large-scale enterprise applications, ensuring robust software design.
• Profile and tune data-intensive applications to identify performance improvements and memory optimizations.
• Partner with multiple technology teams to implement target architectures and execute platform migrations.
• Implement business logic for computing financial elements and supporting regulatory compliance.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of Python development experience.
• 2+ years of experience with big data technologies, specifically Spark and Hadoop.
• 2+ years of SQL programming experience, preferably with Oracle Exadata.
• 2+ years of data wrangling or ETL experience, preferably with Informatica.
• Expertise in performance profiling and tuning data-intensive applications.
• Strong coding, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of the Hadoop or other big data distributed ecosystems.
• Knowledge of cloud computing or distributed computing.

Preferred Skills

• 2+ years of Java development experience.
• 1+ years of UNIX scripting experience and unit test mock frameworks.
• Experience with agile methodologies, SDLC processes, and Quartz.
