Description

You will design, develop, and maintain backend systems and data pipelines for high-volume distributed environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain robust backend services and data solutions.
• Engineer high-volume data pipelines using distributed systems.
• Collaborate with product, design, and data science teams to deliver features.
• Apply engineering best practices including TDD, BDD, CI/CD, SRE, and DevSecOps.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js.
• Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and caching (Redis).
• Experience with data orchestration tools like Airflow.
• Familiarity with data streaming platforms such as Kafka.
• Knowledge of data warehouses including Snowflake and BigQuery.
• Experience with big data technologies like Spark and Hadoop.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud providers AWS or GCP.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
