Description

You will own the development and scaling of numerical workflows and control systems using Python.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage multi-stage workflows and process large datasets (100+ GB) in Python.
• Scale numerical workflows horizontally using tools like OpenMP, MPI, SLURM, or Dask.
• Optimize domain-specific numerical algorithms for performance.
• Integrate C/C++ components for high-performance computing tasks.
• Develop clean, well-tested code within a CI/CD pipeline on Linux.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of Python development experience in numerical computing, ML, data engineering, or data science.
• Proficiency with numpy and matplotlib.
• Experience with CI/CD practices and writing testable code.
• Strong exposure to C/C++ for high-performance computing.
• Ability to work effectively in international, remote agile teams.
• MSc/PhD or equivalent education in a quantitative scientific discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Direct experience with Control Systems.
