Description

You will build and maintain scalable Python applications and RESTful APIs.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Python code for core applications.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs, integrating them with external services and databases.
• Collaborate with product managers and front-end developers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Identify performance bottlenecks, debug code, and optimize applications for speed and scalability.
• Write unit tests, perform code reviews, and maintain thorough technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Python development.
• Proficiency with Python frameworks including Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Strong experience building and working with RESTful APIs and Web Services.
• Hands-on experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and efficient coding practices.
• Proficiency with Git for version control.
• Experience working within an Agile development environment.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and troubleshooting capabilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with containerization tools like Docker.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) or CI/CD pipelines.
