Description

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and services using Python.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement RESTful APIs for front-end communication and third-party integrations.
• Manage and optimize SQL Server database environments, including schema design and query tuning.
• Lead cybersecurity remediation efforts, addressing vulnerabilities and enforcing secure coding practices.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI or Azure DevOps to automate builds and deployments.
• Debug production issues and perform defect fixes to ensure application stability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Python Developer building production-level applications.
• Expertise in Python web frameworks: Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with SQL Server administration and performance tuning.
• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, including OWASP Top 10 and secure coding standards.
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Ability to manage the complete SDLC from development to deployment.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
