Description

You will develop and maintain Python applications to automate the configuration and management of network devices.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python applications for network device automation.
• Collaborate with network engineers to implement technical solutions.
• Write clean, efficient code and create deployment scripts.
• Perform testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure functionality.
• Maintain software documentation and monitor application performance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Python Developer with a focus on networking.
• 2+ years of experience designing, deploying, and managing SD-WAN solutions.
• Proficiency in Python and networking libraries such as Paramiko and Netmiko.
• Strong understanding of network protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, and OSPF.
• Experience with network device configuration for routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Knowledge of SD-WAN technologies and providers like Cisco Viptela and VMware VeloCloud.
• Familiarity with network automation tools such as Ansible.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party service integration.
• Proficiency with version control systems like Git.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of DevOps tools including Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of network monitoring tools such as Nagios.
