Description

You will develop Python and PySpark enhancements for an internal model execution platform, owning custom interface development and technical specifications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop Python and PySpark enhancements for the internal model execution platform.
• Direct model development teams in implementing statistical models.
• Interface with model owners to gather feedback on delivered analytical data.
• Write technical specifications and documentation for Python interfaces.
• Collaborate with QA teams on test plan reviews and requirement clarifications.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of Python and PySpark development experience.
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and computer science fundamentals.
• Experience developing and packaging Python functionality, including namespaces and environments.
• Experience building and debugging PySpark jobs within the Hadoop ecosystem.
• Proficiency working in a Unix environment.
• Experience with Git for source control.
• Experience building RESTful interfaces.
• Experience working with relational databases.
