Description

You will develop and maintain Python applications to configure and manage network devices.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python applications for network hardware management and configuration.
• Collaborate with network engineers to implement technical solutions and improve workflows.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for network-related software.
• Perform testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of network applications.
• Create scripts to support application deployments and automate tasks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Python Developer with a focus on networking.
• Proficiency in Python and libraries such as Paramiko and Netmiko.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, and OSPF.
• Experience with SD-WAN technologies like Cisco Viptela or VMware VeloCloud.
• Experience with network device configuration for routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Familiarity with network automation tools such as Ansible.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party service integration.
• Proficiency with Git version control.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with VMware environments.
