Description

Develop and maintain software solutions using Python within a SWIFT technology environment, including migrating on-premise infrastructure to cloud.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Write, debug, and maintain code using Python and object-oriented programming principles.
• Engineer and support SWIFT products including Alliance Cloud, Alliance Access, Alliance Gateway, and Alliance Web Platform.
• Migrate on-premise infrastructure to cloud environments.
• Identify causes of operating errors and implement corrective actions.
• Utilize APIs, XML, and RESTful services for software development and integration.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Proficiency in Python and object-oriented programming.
• Hands-on experience with SWIFT technologies (Alliance Cloud, Access, Gateway, Web Platform, HSM, and Alliance Connect).
• Experience engineering Linux and Unix systems.
• Experience with middleware and messaging products such as IBM MQ and SQS/SNS.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and XML.
• Experience working with REST APIs.
• Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint.
• Experience working within an agile framework.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing cloud computing migrations.
