Description

You will own back-end development and operations for Python and Java services, managing deployments across AWS infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and debug REST APIs implemented in Python and Java.
• Write and execute SQL queries to perform backend data validations.
• Utilize UNIX commands and scripting for system operations and maintenance.
• Manage applications deployed across EMR, Lambda, and Kinesis streaming services.
• Handle deployments and operations across AWS infrastructure.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with Java.
• Working knowledge of REST APIs.
• Ability to apply XML and JSON concepts.
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries.
• Experience with UNIX commands and scripting.
• Experience with AWS Lambda.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with S3, Elastic Beanstalk, RDS, CloudWatch, SNS, and SQS.
• Familiarity with Redshift and S3 storage.
