Description

You will develop the middle layer of a software application platform used for enterprise-level financial reporting and modeling.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and deploy RESTful microservices and shared service components.
• Engineer scalable calculations to maintain performance across large datasets.
• Refactor existing code to improve maintainability and scalability without altering functionality.
• Collaborate with DevOps and UI teams to automate deployment and ensure production resilience.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency with NumPy and pandas for data processing.
• Experience with Relational Databases and SQL.
• Expertise in automation testing using Pytest, Unittest, Monkey patch, or pytest-mockito.
• Experience with Linux and Docker.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Git, GitLab, Gradle, Conda, and pip.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
