Description

You will build and maintain data extraction tools for Energy Exemplar Plexos models, loading data into Microsoft SQL databases.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop a generic data extraction application to support multiple department Plexos instances.
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and create Agile user stories.
• Coordinate with vendors to transition data extraction from binary formats to Apache Parquet.
• Implement technical solutions within an Agile framework using two-week sprints.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience developing Python applications.
• Proficiency with Flask and Pandas libraries.
• 3+ years of experience creating and optimizing SQL scripts.
• Experience working within an Agile framework.
• Ability to gather business requirements and manage project implementation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using JIRA for Agile development.
• Knowledge of Apache Parquet format.
