Description

You will develop and test commercial software products using Python and shell scripting in a Linux environment.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into functional design and development artifacts.
• Create test plans and test cases to ensure high functionality requirement coverage.
• Design tests, analyze results, and perform debugging to resolve software issues.
• Report and follow up on software issues through the full lifecycle.
• Apply quality engineering methodologies to software development and testing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in commercial software product development and testing.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Hands-on working experience with shell scripting.
• Experience working in Linux environments.
• Strong understanding of operating systems and file system management.
• Knowledge of relational databases.
• Understanding of concurrent programming and network protocols.
• Strong numerical analysis and logical thinking skills.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
