Description

You will own the full software lifecycle, from design through delivery, focusing on data engineering and backend services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement database tables using stored procedures and triggers for SQL Server data transfers.
• Build, refresh, and administer deployment environments for software releases.
• Develop RESTful interfaces and multi-threaded programs utilizing strong data structures.
• Analyze large datasets to draw actionable conclusions.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure repeatable and auditable release processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in application development.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++ within a professional setting.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Experience building and debugging PySpark jobs within the Hadoop ecosystem.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and database design.
• Experience developing RESTful services.
• Hands-on experience with Unix environments.
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps workflows.
• Experience working in globally distributed, matrixed organizations.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience in the Finance industry.
