Description

You will enhance an existing tool to extract and transform data from modeling software into Microsoft SQL Server.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Enhance data extraction and transformation pipelines for MS SQL Server.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and create Agile user stories.
• Work with vendors to transition data formats from binary to Apache Parquet.
• Participate in two-week Agile development sprints.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on experience developing Python applications.
• Proficiency with Flask and Pandas libraries.
• 3+ years of experience writing and optimizing SQL scripts.
• Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Apache Parquet file formats for data storage and transfer.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Jira for project management.
