Description

You will own backend development and cloud migration efforts, moving legacy C and PHP systems to a resilient, distributed architecture.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend components within distributed systems.
• Design and implement database solutions and cloud infrastructure.
• Migrate legacy C and PHP codebases to modern Python services.
• Write self-testing code and unit tests to ensure system reliability.
• Influence technical direction and contribute to architectural decisions.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional programming experience with Python.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, RDS, Aurora, and DynamoDB.
• Experience managing workloads with Kubernetes and EKS.
• Practical knowledge of database technologies and cloud infrastructure.
• Proven ability to design components for distributed systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
