Description

You will build and maintain automation and configuration management infrastructure for large-scale distributed systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build automation and configuration management infrastructure using Ansible, Terraform, Chef, or Puppet.
• Manage production code deployments leveraging Docker containers.
• Design and support large-scale distributed systems architectures involving event streaming and CQRS.
• Maintain continuous delivery pipelines and build/test/release infrastructure.
• Administer Linux environments and core network infrastructure including load balancers, VLANs, and firewalls.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience building automation and configuration management infrastructure.
• 6+ years of experience with Java and scripting languages including Python, Perl, or Ruby.
• 6+ years of experience deploying production code using Docker containers.
• Strong background in Linux administration and network administration (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, routing, iptables).
• Experience with public cloud IaS and PaaS services, specifically AWS or Azure.
• Experience with distributed systems such as Java/Spring Boot, Kafka, Spark, or CQRS.
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD build systems like Jenkins.
• Experience supporting LDAP services in an enterprise environment.
• Knowledge of network architecture including IP subnetting, proxies, and load balancers.

Preferred Skills

• Go / Golang.
• Groovy.
