Description

You will build data-driven applications and big data engineering jobs, owning the full lifecycle from requirements to deployment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute big data engineering jobs using Python and PySpark.
• Implement automated testing strategies including unit, integration, functional, TDD, and BDD.
• Create packaging and build scripts using Docker.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across system resources and application stack traces.
• Manage projects using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python and PySpark.
• Advanced SQL, data modelling, and data analysis capabilities.
• Experience with Linux environments and ETL tools such as Informatica.
• Working knowledge of Java, .NET, Dynamics CRM, SharePoint, Mobile, or Cloud/SSIS development.
• Understanding of analytics and data warehouse implementations.
• Degree in any graduate field.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with DevOps deployment and Denodo data virtualisation.
• Experience implementing high availability and security systems in hybrid cloud environments.
