Build and maintain scalable Python applications and data pipelines.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write effective, scalable, and maintainable Python code using advanced concepts like decorators, generators, and metaclasses.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes using PySpark, Hadoop, and Hive.
• Implement unit tests using Python testing libraries to ensure application reliability.
• Debug applications to maintain low latency and high availability.
• Design and implement software using core engineering principles, including design patterns and documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Core Python programming.
• Deep knowledge of Python internals: inheritance, polymorphism, abstract classes, and magic methods.
• Proficiency with data structures, collections, and itertools.
• Experience with NumPy, Pandas, and SciPy.
• Strong understanding of multi-threading, multiprocessing, and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with REST APIs and regular expressions.
• Proficiency in SQL, NoSQL, and Unix shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Git and Jenkins.
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

• GenAI skillset.
• Databricks Certified Associate Developer for Apache Spark.
• Banking domain knowledge.
