Description

You will build and maintain features within our distributed systems, owning end-to-end delivery of large features spanning multiple months.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver high-quality features and enhancements.
• Create technical design specifications with the engineering team.
• Tune the performance of distributed systems to meet SLAs.
• Peer review code and mentor other engineers on technical solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Significant experience with Python or another dynamically typed, object-oriented language.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and microservice architecture.
• Experience with cloud computing and container-based systems (Docker).
• Proficiency with SQL and relational databases, specifically MySQL.
• Understanding of higher-level RDBMS concepts (locking, isolation levels, deadlocks).
• Hands-on experience using message brokers like RabbitMQ.
• Proven experience using Git/GitHub.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
