Description

You will own the full lifecycle of risk technology enhancements, focusing on maintainable Python and Django applications on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to capture requirements and define the scope of work clearly.
• Decompose requirements into well-scoped, estimated deliverables for effective task breakdown.
• Refactor legacy code and apply modern technologies to improve system design and maintainability.
• Design and lead end-to-end testing strategies, ensuring coverage across functional, regression, and integration scenarios.
• Triage production issues and resolve security vulnerabilities identified through Checkmarx scans.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience with Python and Django.
• Strong proficiency with Postgres database management.
• Experience deploying and managing applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline implementation and management.
• Knowledge of message queuing and streaming technologies including MQ, Kafka, and Airflow.
• Basic understanding of Java for legacy system integration and upgrades.

Preferred Skills

• Google Cloud certifications or other relevant cloud certifications.
• CFA, FRM, or Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) certifications.
