Modernize ETL functions by rebuilding legacy Java processes using Python.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Rebuild legacy Java processes into Python to modernize ETL functions.
• Develop new code and enhance existing codebases to integrate with new systems.
• Produce thorough, clear, and detailed technical documentation.
• Communicate with stakeholders to ensure best practices and technology integration.
• Participate in scrum meetings and follow all steps of the SDLC within an Agile environment.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on Python experience.
• 3+ years of recent Linux/Unix Shell Scripting experience.
• 5+ years of relational database experience using SQL or Postgres.
• Strong experience working in Agile environments and the SDLC.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
