Lead technical teams and deliver scalable API solutions with minimal supervision.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical teams and mentor developers and QA staff.
• Act as the bridge between business stakeholders, Solution Architects, and engineering teams.
• Independently manage projects from design to deployment.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs using Spring Boot microservices.
• Ensure API security, scaling, resiliency, and performance tuning.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong background in API development and middleware integration.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot microservices.
• Experience with IIB / ACE and IBM Cloud.
• Knowledge of API design tools: IBM RSA, UML tools, Swagger Designer.
• In-depth knowledge of API security: OAuth, OIDC, SSO, JWT.
• Understanding of API-first development and non-functional requirements (NFRs).

Preferred Skills

• Experience mentoring cross-functional teams.
• Ability to challenge the status quo and drive technical initiatives.
