Description

You will develop and maintain high-availability backend systems using Python. You will own the release pipeline and ensure code quality through rigorous testing.

Responsibilities

• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code for backend systems.
• Design and implement low-latency, performant applications.
• Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Implement security, data protection, and storage solutions including databases and key-value stores.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in Python development.
• Expertise in Python and at least one web framework such as Django or Flask.
• Understanding of server-side templating languages like Jinja 2 or Mako.
• Basic knowledge of front-end technologies including JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Familiarity with event-driven programming in Python.
• Strong unit testing and debugging skills.
• Proficiency with code versioning tools such as Git, Mercurial, or SVN.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree.
• Ability to relocate anywhere in the U.S.
