Description

You will optimize and refine an existing Python codebase of over 10,000 lines using AWS native services. You own the technical direction for code cleanup and modernization.

Responsibilities

• Perform deep code reviews to identify improvement areas in existing Python repositories.
• Provide technical recommendations to clean, refactor, and update legacy code.
• Develop back-end components to increase system responsiveness and overall performance.
• Guide the engineering team through the code cleanup and modernization process.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional Python development experience.
• AWS Solutions Architect Certification (required).
• Extensive experience with DynamoDB.
• Proficiency with AWS services, including IAM and Lambda.
• Proven ability to write and review scalable back-end code.
• Strong understanding of AWS native services.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
