Description

You will develop REST API services and manage backend batch processing using Python.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain REST API services using Python.
• Design and schedule batch processes and file processing workflows.
• Implement IT controls to ensure application and data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
• Evaluate technical libraries by analyzing pros and cons against business requirements.
• Create technical documentation using flowcharting tools like Visio.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of professional Python development experience (non-Data Science focus).
• Proven experience building REST APIs with Python.
• Hands-on experience with Pyjwt, Pymongo, and Asyncio.
• Demonstrated experience processing batch files and scheduling batch processes.
• Strong understanding of RESTful architecture.
• Proficiency with SQL and Python-based backend processing.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Postgres SQL, MongoDB, JWT, Spark, or Hadoop.
• Relevant development certifications.
