You will design, develop, and maintain complex web-based software systems in Wilkes-Barre, PA.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex web-based software systems.
• Collaborate with end users to define new system requirements.
• Author technical documentation, including requirements specifications and design documents.
• Mentor and train less experienced personnel.
• Assist the team with cost estimate preparation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• 4+ years of experience in web-based design and development.
• Proficiency with Python.
• Experience with JavaScript, Oracle DBMS, and SQL Server DBMS.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and SDLC practices.
• Experience with Change Management and Configuration Management tools like VersionOne or ServiceNow.
• Experience with Visual Basic and MS Access.
• Ability to perform functional duties independently.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
