Description

Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, cloud-native applications using Python and AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Python-based backend applications using Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Build and deploy serverless and containerized solutions on AWS using Lambda and ECS Fargate.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs using API Gateway and manage data persistence with RDS and S3.
• Configure application monitoring, logging, and alerts using CloudWatch.
• Manage AWS VPC networking, security groups, Route 53 DNS, and secrets via Secrets Manager and Systems Manager.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Python with solid understanding of OOPs, data structures, and design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, ECS Fargate, API Gateway, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager, Systems Manager, VPC, and Route 53.
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and designing/consuming REST APIs.
• Ability to collaborate with architects, DevOps, QA, and product teams across the SDLC.
• Participation in code reviews, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Adherence to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to NoSQL databases.
• Experience with event-driven and batch workloads.
