Description

You will own the development and maintenance of monthly financial accrual reports using Python and Databricks.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Python scripts in Databricks to fetch and process data from Tempo Timesheets in Jira for financial calculations.
• Integrate with Tempo, Jira, and Jira Align APIs to aggregate accrual costs by epics.
• Configure, maintain, and optimize Databricks notebooks for data processing and report generation.
• Generate and validate monthly financial reports to ensure alignment with organizational requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs during critical end-of-month accrual generation processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Python programming.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks notebook configuration and optimization.
• Expertise in API integration and debugging.
• In-depth knowledge of Tempo, Jira, and Jira Align APIs for data extraction.
• Proficiency in data cleansing and validation for accurate reporting.
• Experience handling complex financial calculations and data processing.
• Ability to resolve technical issues under time-sensitive conditions.
