Description

You will build and maintain automation tools, scripts, and API-driven services to streamline database administration and performance tuning for PostgreSQL.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop tools and scripts to automate database management and performance tuning tasks.
• Design and maintain API-driven services for seamless interaction with PostgreSQL.
• Integrate database management workflows into CI/CD pipelines to enable automated deployments.
• Implement automated monitoring and alerting systems with self-healing capabilities.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development or platform infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Python or Go.
• Strong knowledge of relational database fundamental concepts.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL.
• Experience building and maintaining API-driven services.
• Experience building highly available software services or platform infrastructure.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS or GCP Cloud APIs.
• Understanding of PostgreSQL internals.
• SRE experience supporting PaaS or DBaaS.
