Description

You will build and maintain scalable backend services and cloud-native data integrations on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain APIs using Python frameworks.
• Integrate services with third-party SaaS products.
• Manage cloud-native data storage and database implementations.
• Write, test, and debug code to ensure production readiness.
• Implement API management and security protocols.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional programming experience.
• Strong Python programming skills and fundamentals.
• Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) fundamentals.
• Experience with API development and integration.
• Proficiency with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Pyramid.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with cloud-native storage like Google Cloud Storage, BigQuery, or BigTable.
• Knowledge of API management and security best practices.
• Ability to perform independent testing and debugging.

Preferred Skills

• Data engineering experience involving ETL processes.
• Experience with Apache Beam or Google Dataflow.
