Description

You will develop and maintain web applications and backend services using Python, integrating them with enterprise data platforms and Power BI dashboards.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain web applications and APIs using Python frameworks like Flask, FastAPI, or Django.
• Integrate applications with cloud data platforms such as Databricks and enterprise data warehouses.
• Support connectivity and integration with Power BI dashboards for data visualization.
• Manage deployment, environment setup, testing, and release processes in collaboration with IT teams.
• Troubleshoot deployment, authentication, and performance issues while ensuring application security.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Python web application development.
• Strong proficiency with Flask, FastAPI, or Django.
• Experience building and supporting backend services and REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience integrating applications with Databricks or similar analytics platforms.
• Familiarity with Git version control systems.
• Understanding of cloud-hosted applications and enterprise data connectivity patterns.
• Knowledge of authentication, access management, and application security best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI/CD processes and Azure cloud platform.
• Familiarity with GIS-related functionality or spatial data concepts.
