Description

You will develop Python and PySpark-based microservices for a data-oriented modernization project.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build microservices using Python, PySpark, and AWS EKS.
• Perform system, functional, and data analysis on legacy systems to create technical and functional requirement documents.
• Write automated tests using Behave/Cucumber and PyTest based on new architectures.
• Manage container-based deployments to AWS EKS using Jenkins, SonarQube, and Fortify.
• Translate business requirement documents (BRS) into technical data mappings.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Python and PySpark.
• Experience with AWS EKS and AWS Postgres.
• Hands-on work with Postgres databases.
• Experience with SAS and Informatica.
• Knowledge of Jenkins, SonarQube, and Fortify.
• Experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
• Testing expertise using Behave/Cucumber and PyTest.
• Ability to perform data analysis and system analysis.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Snowflake, AutoSys, and DB2.
• Knowledge of reporting applications development and Tableau.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Java, Spring Boot, and AMQs.
