You will lead the design and delivery of critical financial and risk management systems.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a distributed team supporting Finance, Treasury, and Risk applications.
• Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of Python services hosted on AWS.
• Translate functional requirements into secure, scalable technical solutions.
• Manage development roadmaps, sprint planning, and system enhancements.
• Drive automation, monitoring, and deployment efficiency using AWS tools and DevOps practices.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years in a technical leadership role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, including APIs and data pipelines.
• Solid experience with AWS services: Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudFormation, ECS.
• Understanding of finance, treasury, or credit risk processes.
• Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Terraform.
• Proven ability to lead distributed teams in global environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS CDK.
• Exposure to financial data analytics or reporting tools.
