Description

You will develop and maintain numerical models and simulations for scientific computing.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement numerical models and simulations using Python.
• Integrate empirical data into existing physical models to improve accuracy.
• Debug and resolve complex computational issues in scientific codebases.
• Communicate technical findings and model results clearly to stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in numerical modeling, simulation, or scientific computing.
• Strong command of Python programming for data analysis and modeling.
• Proficiency with scientific libraries: NumPy, SciPy, SymPy, Matplotlib, PyTorch.
• Experience with data-driven modeling techniques and empirical data integration.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex analytical problems independently.
• Master's or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Computational Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with large-scale scientific simulations or high-performance computing environments.
• Background in publishing or presenting technical research findings.
