Description

You will develop and maintain scalable back-end components and hardware-integrated software for smart glasses, while supervising engineering personnel.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write, test, and debug scalable Python code to improve system responsiveness and performance.
• Integrate user-facing elements and third-party web services into applications.
• Review and approve software modifications to correct errors and adapt to new hardware.
• Develop software system testing, validation procedures, and technical documentation.
• Supervise the work of programmers, technologists, and other engineering personnel.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Python, including Pandas or general Python development.
• Hands-on experience with at least one framework: Django, Flask, or Pyramid.
• Proficiency with Object-Relational Mapping (ORM).
• Knowledge of front-end technologies including JavaScript and HTML5.
• Understanding of circuit boards, processors, electronic equipment, and computer hardware.
• Knowledge of design techniques and principles for producing drawings and models.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with consumer electronics.
