You will develop and maintain backend services, cloud-native applications, and automation pipelines on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and event-driven architectures using Python.
• Design and deploy applications leveraging GCP services including Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Cloud SQL.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation for containerized environments.
• Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot applications to ensure performance and reliability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience developing applications with Python.
• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its core services.
• Proficiency with GCP services: Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, and IAM.
• Experience building RESTful APIs or event-driven architectures.
• Strong understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/GKE).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
• Good understanding of cloud networking, monitoring, and security best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
