Description

You will build and maintain full-stack Python applications for financial services, owning the backend architecture, data processing, and deployment pipelines.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and scale backend services using Django and Python.
• Process large datasets with PySpark, NumPy, and Matplotlib.
• Manage cloud infrastructure and data storage on AWS S3.
• Automate deployments and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing with PyUnit and SOAPUI.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional Python development experience.
• Strong proficiency with Django for backend architecture.
• Experience with data libraries: NumPy, PySpark, Matplotlib.
• Cloud infrastructure knowledge, specifically AWS S3.
• Version control and CI/CD: Git, Jenkins.
• Testing tools: PyUnit, SOAPUI.
• Frontend basics: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax.
• Unix/Linux command line proficiency.
• Financial services industry experience.
