Description

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Python and FastAPI.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable architecture components across data, application, and business layers.
• Develop clean, efficient, and well-tested code to meet acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine user stories and define technical requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges during development and integration phases.
• Build and maintain automated test suites including unit and integration tests.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional Python coding experience.
• Expert proficiency in FastAPI or similar asynchronous web frameworks.
• Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, including SQL optimization and data modeling.
• Proven experience designing and deploying high-volume, distributed transactional applications.
• Solid understanding of Git version control and collaborative workflows.
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as pytest.
• Experience working within Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).
• Knowledge of RESTful API design principles and data access patterns.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SDLG methodologies.
