Description

Build data solutions from the ground up and analyze legacy code to support cloud migrations.

Responsibilities

• Build data pipelines and systems from scratch.
• Analyze and refactor legacy code for cloud migration projects.
• Manage structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data sets.
• Implement data streaming and micro-batching processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering roles.
• Advanced SQL and RDBMS knowledge (SQL Server, Oracle, or DB2).
• Hands-on Python experience with common frameworks and packages.
• Experience with AWS services including S3, Lambda, ELB, ALB, EC2, EMR, API Gateway, RDS, Elasticsearch, ElastiCache Redis, and Glue.
• Proficiency working in both Windows and Linux environments.
• Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Snowflake.
• Familiarity with Continuous Deployment pipelines and configuration using Jenkins, Chef, or Docker.
• Exposure to Netezza or Exadata ecosystems.
