Description

Develop and maintain backend features, risk model applications, and UI components for financial analytics platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build backend services using Python and Java, integrating with REST APIs and SQL databases.
• Develop responsive front-end interfaces using React, ensuring testable and efficient code.
• Support and maintain risk model execution environments including CCAR, CECL, and macroeconomic forecasting tools.
• Build and maintain data processing pipelines using Spark and Hadoop on compute or GPU clusters.
• Collaborate on CI/CD workflows, code reviews, and defect resolution following Agile practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Java for backend development.
• Experience building user interfaces with React (or Angular).
• Familiarity with financial risk domains, specifically CCAR and CECL models.
• Hands-on experience with big data technologies like Spark and Hadoop.
• Solid understanding of SQL and relational database design.
• Experience with REST API design and microservices architecture.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Machine Learning toolkits and JupyterHub.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitLab.
