Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Python and React/Next.js.
• Build robust and scalable backend services and REST APIs using Python.
• Develop responsive, reusable, and user-friendly interfaces using React and/or Next.js.
• Design, optimize, and manage PostgreSQL databases, including schema design, queries, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and third-party services.
• Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code.
• Troubleshoot application issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Improve application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate with product, UI/UX, QA, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, testing, and deployment activities.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Python backend development.
• Strong experience building REST APIs / web services using Python.
• Good hands-on experience with React.js and/or Next.js.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational databases.
• Experience with database design, SQL queries, joins, indexing, and query optimization.
• Understanding of frontend-backend integration and API consumption.
• Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with Git and version control.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle and coding best practices.
• Experience writing unit/integration tests is preferred.

Preferred Skills

• FastAPI / Django / Flask.
• TypeScript.
• Docker and containerization.
• AWS/Azure/GCP.
• CI/CD pipelines.
• Redis, Celery, or asynchronous processing.
• Microservices architecture.
• Authentication/authorization such as JWT/OAuth2
