Description

Build and maintain web-based applications using Python, modern front-end frameworks, and microservice architecture.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop web applications using Object Oriented programming and microservice architecture.
• Design and modify SQL database tables, including PostgreSQL or Oracle.
• Build and consume REST APIs and SOAP/WSDL/XML services.
• Write automated tests using Pytest, Karma, or Jasmine to support Test Driven Development.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure software engineering best practices.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional experience in Object Oriented development.
• Expertise in Python and the Flask framework.
• Strong proficiency with SQLAlchemy and SQL databases (PostgreSQL or Oracle).
• Experience with front-end technologies including Angular, TypeScript, or React.
• 5+ years of experience working in Agile environments such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins.
• Deep understanding of TDD and software design principles.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Advanced degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Experience in the Automotive Industry or EE Architecture.
