Description

You will develop, implement, and maintain Python backend services and JavaScript frontend interfaces.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful APIs using JSON and Microservices architecture.
• Integrate security best practices into the SDLC and ensure compliance with DEPL controls.
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability through proactive monitoring and tuning.
• Maintain and improve container security using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with teams to enforce secure coding practices and remediate vulnerabilities.

Required Skills

• Proficient in Python 3.11+ with 5+ years of experience.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and data migration tools (Liquibase, Flywheel, Alembic, Django migrations).
• Strong understanding of API design, including Swagger and Open API 3.0.
• Ability to use and create RESTful APIs with JSON payloads.
• Knowledge of Microservices architecture and authentication/authorization patterns.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub/git usage.
• Familiarity with CSS, JS, and HTML for frontend implementation.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerization.
