Description

You will build and maintain backend services, data pipelines, and analytical tools within an enterprise environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write, design, and implement backend code using Python and related technologies.
• Develop high-quality ETLs with automated tests and reconciliation processes to validate data movement.
• Build SQL queries, dashboards, and reports to meet business and management requirements.
• Execute unit tests for product components and collaborate with QA to resolve issues.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications outside of regular release cycles.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of commercial experience working with Python.
• Extensive experience developing RESTful services using Flask or Django.
• Proficiency with Pandas, Numpy, matplotlib, scikit-learn, and Seaborn.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases including Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with API security, token management, and access control (OAuth, JWT).
• Practical experience with machine learning concepts: Regression, Classification, and Clustering.
• Knowledge of statistical methodologies such as Hypothesis testing and A/B testing.
• Understanding of neural networks and NLP frameworks.
• Experience with container technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
• Experience creating and manipulating data in Hadoop environments using HDFS and Impala.
• Proficiency in Bash/Shell scripting and managing data pipelines.
• Experience working in Agile environments using Scrum, Kanban, or XP.
• Experience delivering code within enterprise-scale CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
