Description

You will build and maintain backend services, APIs, and web applications using Python and modern frontend frameworks.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Python.
• Build responsive front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.
• Design and integrate with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
• Implement security best practices, including IAM concepts like OAuth, SSO, and RBAC.
• Deploy and manage applications in Linux/Unix environments, utilizing containerization tools like Docker.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of overall IT experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Python with demonstrated experience in backend development.
• Working knowledge of at least one additional language: JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Go.
• Experience with modern web frameworks: Django, Flask, FastAPI, React, Angular, or Vue.
• Familiarity with RESTful API design, development, and integration.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Understanding of front-end fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JS) and responsive design.
• Proficiency with Git, including branching and pull request workflows.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and deployment workflows.
• Familiarity with IAM tools (Okta, Auth0, Azure AD) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Exposure to Python ML libraries (scikit-learn, pandas) or prompt design for AI outputs.
