Description

Migrate Oracle APEX applications to Flask or FastAPI, develop server-rendered web interfaces with Jinja2, and build secure RESTful APIs with robust data access layers.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Migrate existing Oracle APEX applications to Flask or FastAPI, improving system architecture while maintaining functionality.
• Develop server-rendered web applications using Jinja2 for dashboards, forms, reports, and self-service portals.
• Write and optimize Oracle SQL and PL/SQL queries, designing efficient data access layers using python-oracledb or SQLAlchemy.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs for frontend integration and internal automation systems.
• Implement secure authentication and role-based access control using SSO and OAuth mechanisms.

Required Skills

• 5–8 years of experience in software development or backend engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, specifically Flask or FastAPI.
• Proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, including database optimization.
• Experience building web applications with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Proven expertise in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Working knowledge of Linux environments.
• Experience maintaining CI/CD pipelines for testing and continuous delivery.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
