Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Python Developer / Data Engineer with strong experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to design, develop, and maintain scalable data and application solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Python development along with hands-on experience in building cloud-based data pipelines, integrations, and services within the GCP ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable applications, services, and data pipelines using Python.
• Design, build, and optimize data processing workflows and ETL pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Work with GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, and Composer.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, analysts, and application developers to deliver cloud-based solutions.
• Implement data transformation, data ingestion, and integration processes from multiple sources.
• Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability of cloud-based applications and pipelines.
• Follow best practices for code quality, testing, documentation, and CI/CD.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in production environments.

Required Skills

• Strong programming experience in Python.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
• Experience building data pipelines, APIs, or cloud-native applications.
• Good understanding of data processing, ETL/ELT frameworks, and distributed systems.
• Experience with SQL and large-scale data processing.
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
• Understanding of containerization (Docker) or CI/CD pipelines is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Apache Airflow / Cloud Composer.
• Knowledge of BigQuery optimization and data modeling.
• Experience working with streaming or batch data processing frameworks.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and infrastructure as code
