Description

You will lead Python-based digital transformation projects, owning end-to-end implementation of server-side backend systems within a global delivery model.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation of Python server-side backend programming for digital transformation projects.
• Research new technologies independently to recommend appropriate technical solutions.
• Contribute to technology-specific best practices and engineering standards.
• Interface with key stakeholders throughout all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Information Technology experience.
• 3+ years of experience in end-to-end Python implementation and backend programming.
• Strong proficiency in Python, OOPs concepts, and Data Structures.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and Unix shell scripting.
• Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, Algorithms, Collections, Multi-threading, and memory management.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent; or three years of progressive experience in lieu of every year of education.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Big Data ecosystems including Hadoop, Spark, and Scala.
• Knowledge of software engineering design patterns and Agile frameworks.
• Experience working in the Banking domain.
