Description

You will build and maintain high-volume web services using Python, focusing on performance.

Responsibilities

• Implement async Python patterns and build event-driven architectures using messaging tools.
• Design and optimize complex database queries using PostgreSQL and SQLAlchemy.
• Ensure system reliability by implementing exactly-once processing, idempotency, and fault-tolerance.
• Write comprehensive unit and functional tests to maintain code quality.
• Work with version control systems and development tools in Linux environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional Python development experience focusing on high-volume web services.
• Proficiency in Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy, Kafka, Async Programming, Unit Testing, and Git.
• Experience designing and implementing event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with Distributed Systems concepts.
• Ability to work effectively in Linux environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
